And its about following your dreams instead of just doing something that you think is right.<br /><br />I admire people who keep their dreams alive.<br /><br />And I've been doing some introspection - and realize that I am not really sure what my dream is... or whether I've ever allowed myself to have a dream. Idecided to forego going away to college so I could save money and not get out with a ton of student loans... I decided to live at home for a while after I graduated... I took a job transfer even though I didn't really like the job.<br /><br />Yet there are some things I realize I may be good at... I love kids, and I like that I can encourage them to read, to be polite, and still have fun. I like having silly handshakes with kids.<br /><br />And I also thought about my blog, and I realize I started my blog because I was encouraged by another blogger who I left comments for. Lately, I haven't wanted to blog, I haven't had any idea what to blog about. Yet, I still like to read other blogs, to comment, to give advice.<br /><br />I think I'm good at listening, I think I'm good at offering advice... and I don't get upset if my advice is not accepted or understood or whatever.<br /><br />I also have given a lot of thought to why I blog anonymously, and why I have this alter ego - hidden from family, friends and co-workers... yet, I also have been lucky to meet some great people through this blog - some only via email, some in person. Still, I also realize that I have established fences around myself an my life - and have been wondering of late if that's fair to those I consider friends, and if its fair to me...<br /><br />What I have arrived at is a deicsion of sorts... I think that this rambling blog post will probably be my last. What started in November 2005, and lasted through 668 posts, has run its course... I think its time to move on from blogging.
